Simple techniques for making a presentation

• To insert a new slide behind the active one go to Insert -> New slide; choose from the slides that the program offers
• To insert a text into the slide just click on the active area; you can resize and move the active area as a normal textBox
• To insert an image go to Insert -> Image -> Image from file; you can move and resize the image as in MS Word
• To format your presentation either use the tools for formatting the text as in MS Word, or choose one of the formats prepared for you. You may also choose different text coloring or background color - all formatting is found under Format in the menu
• To create animations between the slides you may choose one of the prepared animations - you will find them in the menu toolbar in Presentation
• To run your presentation press F5 or go to Presentation -> Run

Favorite movie presentation

Create a presentation about your favorite movie. You should include slides like "plot", "cast and characters", "production team" etc. You should also include link to the official website of the movie. Do not forget to make your first slide a heading with the title of the topic and your name, and on the last slide you should have references - addresses of the web pages you took the information from. The information should not be copied, but written in your own words. Format the background, texts and images of the presentation, and insert animations inside the slides and/or between the slides.
